Executive Office of the Secretary

Secretary’s Duties. The specific duties and authorities of the Secretary of the Executive Branch shall be:

  1. to keep records of all actions of the Executive Branch, insure proper reports in accordance with this Constitution are forwarded to the Crow Tribal General Council; and
  2. to delegate, at his prerogative, his authority, in writing, to the Vice-Secretary when the Secretary is unavailable due to illness or death in the family. The Secretary may also, at his prerogative, delegate his authority to the Vice-Secretary in writing from time to time for specific purposes or projects and for specific periods of time. An automatic delegation of authority from the Secretary to the Vice-Secretary shall occur if the Secretary is unavailable or absent for a period of five working days.

NOTICE 2020 CROW TRIBE EXECUTIVE BRANCH ELECTIONS FILING DEADLINE FOR CANDIDATES FOR CHAIRMAN, VICE-CHAIRMAN, SECRETARY & VICE-SECRETARY In accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Crow Nation, and the Amended Comprehensive Election Ordinance, notice is hereby given that all candidates for the Chairman, Vice-Chairman. Secretary & Secretary of the Executive Branch must file for candidacy by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September Ist, 2020.

NOTICE APSAALOOKE NATION ABSENTEE VOTING CROW TRIBE EXECUTIVE BRANCH ELECTION Pursuant to the Crow Tribal Election Ordinance as amended in the April 2016 Session of the Legislature by CUB No. 16-01 "AN ACT TO AMEND THE CROW TRIBAL ELECTION ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR ABSENTEE VOTING IN ALL FUTURE TRIBAL ELECTIONS," any Crow Tribal member may vote by Absentee Ballot in the 2020 Executive Branch Primary and General Elections.
